Message from the Principal

I believe in not giving up, striving for the best, turning negatives into positives, and most of all, doing it with a smile!

When life throws you a curve ball, your options are either get hit, or swing for the fences! I chose to swing in order to begin my career as an educator! Previously, I worked as a travel agent, and then spanned the world on the wings of our national carrier as a flight attendant and a ground staff. Globe-trotting gave me confidence and courage to face any challenge.

The birth of my children was my grounding from a high-flying career, and with limited academic qualifications, the possibility of something new was very narrow.

My options were to either be stay at home mother or get my academic qualifications and move forward. I chose the latter—not an easy task, especially when one is in the middle of two brilliant siblings, a doctor and an engineer. The resolve to beat the odds is a characteristic that I can attribute to my mother. She never gives up and strives to better herself in all areas of life.

Through determination and sheer grit, I completed a few courses in the Montessori method of educationand was able to upgrade my academic qualifications.Today, I am the proud owner of Athena Montessori House of Children (PVT) Ltd.
